Teeing off has to be the most important shot of the day, it dictates how easy it is for you in the approach shot or some cases hit the green or the hole. Many golfers find it difficult off the tee due to being inexperienced or fail to even bother fixing what is going wrong with their drives. The first thing you should look at is your stance. Make sure to keep at a decent distance from the tee and ball . Be sure to keep your feet shoulder width apart, this will provide you with a sturdy stance to drive the ball.

You might need to loosen up in your swing. check that you have a firm grip but not a tight grip. Believe it or not you are able to leverage your body to whip out your shot. Believe me when I say this that many golfers assume that tensing up and showing all muscle is going to create greater distance with your drives. This is not true. Timing, power and flexibility and technique come as one to project the perfect swing.
Be sure not come over top of the ball on your downswing because it is more likely that you will slice the ball. This is created when you use too much upper body in the downswing instead of driving your weight from right to left or left to right if you are left handed. Using your core to rotate your hips slightly you will drive the ball at a greater distance.
