Excellent Golf Balls!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Let me start off by saying that I am a beginner golfer. I started playing about a year ago and absolutely love the game. At the time I figured with so many choices for golf balls why not get something in the mid to higher price range, after all.. they’re more expensive for a reason right? Well after loosing ball after ball and changing different brands to see if that would help, I realized maybe I should be getting cheaper balls. I’ve used them all, from ProV1’s to Noodles to Maxfli’s to Callaways to you name it, I’ve hacked away at it. I finally came across these Intech Beta Ti balls. After reading all the rave reviews about them and seeing that there were folks like myself out there, I went ahead a purchased a 36pack. Amazon shipped these to my door within 3 days, excellent as usual. Since I received these a few weeks ago, my game has TREMENDOUSLY improved! I hit higher, straighter, and longer than ever before and the most ironic thing is… these are the cheapest balls I’ve ever bought! I’ve only lost a few since I started using the Intech Beta’s and these days when I loose a ball, it doesn’t really sting my wallet. I highly recommend these for anyone who was like myself and loosing balls in the pond, the woods, the other fairway and want to improve your game. These WILL improve your game and if you loose a ball… it won’t hurt your wallet!

good balls + low price = great value
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Tough to find a better deal than this… these balls are good and they are cheap.

If you are Tiger Woods maybe you want one of the more expensive balls. But if you are a typical weekend golfer like me, these are an excellent choice, and the low cost means you don’t feel too bad when you launch one into the woods or the water hazard.

As good as almost any ball I have ever played. Price is great.
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
These balls provide good distance and are as rugged as any. You can not beat the price.

Lost golf ball
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I’ve been playing golf with this ball for almost two years and have found it to be just as easy to lose as balls costing twice as much. Realistically, for the average golfer, a golf ball is a golf ball. They’re all white, round, and have dimples. Most of us get spin on a shot by accident. I’m not that great a golfer where I could notice the difference between golf balls and they’re all hard to find in the rough. At the rate I lose golf balls, the price of the Intech makes them the preferred ball. 3 Dozen for about [...] really suits my golfing budget.

OK for the price, but you get what you pay for
Rating:2 out of 5 stars
These are run-of-the-mill cheapo golf balls. Some of the reviewers here think that these balls are miraculous and amazing, but they are no different than other balls in the same price range. If you’re a decent player then I’m sure you can get a good score with these or any ball. However better players will get an immediate and obvious improvement by using a premium 3 or 4 piece ball. I am one of the best semi-pro golfers in the state of California, so I know what I’m talking about here.

Bottom line… these are a good value if you’re a complete beginner and lose a bunch of balls. If you’re an intermediate to serious player then you will need to pay for something better.

Nice for the Price
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I have a 9 handicap and have been using this ball for a few years. The distance is good. I like the feed back on putts. On my home course in NC there is a lot of water and wetland, so on a bad day you can lose a few balls. It’s kind of a bummer to lose a four dollar ball, but no sweat to lose a low price ball like this.

No Complaints
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I am happy with my purchase of these balls. They have a nice feel when hit and seem to roll true on the greens. Their appearance seems to be free from defects and is appealing to the eye.

I’ve played entire rounds with the same ball and they have held up just fine. (and yes, a lot of the time I’ll lose a ball or two during a round)

I’m only a little picky when it comes to golf balls, but these satisfy all my requirements. I ordered 2 boxes (72 balls) for 32.98 and selected free shipping so they ended up costing less than $6 a dozen. I consider that a bargain.

Good deal

These balls will NOT make you a better golfer. They WILL be a descent, cheaper, alternative until you get better.

Intech golf balls
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I am a beginner. Hence, I lose a lot of balls. This are perfect for beginners since they are inexpensive, relative to other balls. I am not sure how more advanced players will like these.

Don’t overthink it
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
These are probably the best value golf balls out there for the price. Geared towards beginner to intermediate skill levels, these balls help keep the overwhelming price of golf to something more affordable. They look nice, are solid on impact, and will last several rounds.

Great product. Great price. TERRIBLE SHIPPING TIME!!! 7 days to go from from central Kentucky to central Illinois when I ordered a computer monitor at the same time and received it in 3 days? Huh? 1 star for shipping, 5 stars for product and its price. Shame on the S & H folks.

Fantastic Ball regardless of Price
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I play with an 8 handicapper who has been using these for a long time. I am a 28. Nevertheless, I’d been using a ball that I liked the feel of and was psychologically comfortable with (you know how that goes?). I figured I should try these Intech. If they don’t hurt his handicap, how could I do any worse? The ball feels great off any shot. I have confidence. I don’t care if I loose them – when I bought from Amazon I paid something like $32 for 72 balls. $.471/ball. (no freight). K Mart was about $11/dozen, still a great price for a ball this good. What have you got to loose? $11. Now the real question. What have you got to save? Perhaps thousands over the years. They should be paying me for this review.

Decent balls for the Price
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Not too bad. They are all straight shots so far, and 10 bucks for 36 is insane. I would recommend these to anyone.

A lot of ball for the money.
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I am a decent golfer ( ~ 18 handicap ) This ball plays very well. At the 36 ball price, it is a great value. They are not pro v 1s, but have a decent feel.

golf balls

They fly, they roll, they eventually drop into the hole. That’s about what you want from a golf ball. Oh, they’re inexpensive, which means money left for the 19th! Life is good! :)

As good as the Best, better than the Rest!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I switched from Titleist to these Intech Beta Ti balls a few months ago. I have a 18 handicap and am a senior golfer. I play around 75 rounds a year. My group of players range from 15 to 20 handicapers. They play everything from Titleist, Taylor, Top Flight etc. I find I can drive these Intech’s just as far and you can not beat the value. Try a box you won’t be unhappy you did.

Another proud 912er in Texas..

These Balls Rock My Face!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I’ve been a regular golfer for 4 years this season, and I’ve played these balls for a little more than half that time. First and foremost: these balls play wonderfully. There’s no problem you could encounter with this ball that you won’t have with any other ball out there. In response to a couple recurring themes in these reviews, here’s my two cents:

1. The laws of aerodynamics don’t lie: golf balls fly truer when the face of the ball has been roughed up, which is why I’m not so concerned about the soft-ish cover on this ball. Unless some fairly large chunks have been torn off the ball, I don’t sweat it.

2. Any benefit the more expensive balls can provide are lost on most of us anyway–we’re not pros. Heck, most of us can’t even break par! So what’s the sense in spending more on a ball? Use the money you save on these balls and get on the range to learn how to hit them.

Ever since I started playing with these balls I’ve gotten such a kick out of poking around in the woods and the rough, looking for the rockin’-yet-cheap ball I hit into it, and coming out with the Callaway and Titleist and Nike balls everyone else PAYED for me to find. And THOSE are the ones I play when I need to carry hazards–better to risk losing the free ball, right?

Great golfball
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I have used this ball for 6 months. Players laugh at me as they are paying off their bets. Most friends play Pro V 1 or 1+. I can drive the ball with the best, stops on the green and putts well. I am a player, 11 handicap and posted 78 rounds this year at a private club.

Why Golf Balls are like NASCAR
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
A friend gave me a sleeve of these balls a week ago and I liked them so much I just placed an order for them on Amazon. Some facts about golf balls that I learned from a friend of over 20 years who has worked for the largest golf ball manufacturer and just retired from that company last year. Years ago I used to buy X out balls to save money, and like you I thought they were blems thus the cheaper price. What my friend told me was that x outs were absolutely perfect balls, except that for that days run all golf balls would be marked as x outs. Why? Because the company knew there were golfers that would play $[...] a dozen, and those that would pay $[...] a dozen, they wanted both customers. Any ball that was not perfect was always destroyed, not sold as an x out. And who wouldn’t want a premier ball at a lower price, but there were the guys who wanted the same ball but wanted the prestige of having the most expensive without the x. Like he said you will see pallets of x outs at a pro shops, if they really made that many mistakes they would be out of business.

While he would never tell me the true cost to make a ball he did tell me that the cost between the cheapest 2 piece vs their premier 3 or 4 piece ball was just a few pennies. The extra cost was due to each extra step in a mold to add the extra layer. Also ball manufacturers use the same materials, there is no proprietary materials, but that different formula mixes gave each ball different characteristics. He said that golf balls were like NASCAR because NASCAR set rules so that all cars are the same, very little variance, and the the USGA does the same for golf balls. Basically other than the normal rules like diameter and weight no ball that is hit by a mechanical machine with a 9 degree titanium driver at 120 mph swig speed can travel with roll more than 320 yards. There is even consideration being given to lower that distance because most courses can’t be made longer and par 4 and 5 holes are playing one stroke lower with new equipment.

Bottom line is if you think a $[...] dollar ball is a better ball that a $[...] ball, well the ball manufacturers love you. All that is built into that $5 ball could be in a $1 ball, and in some brands is, but why if they can get that extra $[...] dollars. What justifies that extra $[...] dollars is the fact that you see that balls name on a pro’s cap on the Sunday final. Status has its price. As for these Intech Beta Ti and also their Limbo balls they don’t meet USGA standards, and could be the reason for the extra distance most reviewers here seem to get. I get about 15 yards more than my other approved balls with the Intechs. Keep in mind if you play in a club or USGA event with a non conforming ball like the intechs you will be disqualified. And most informal scrambles or golf outing that that have a prize like car for a hole in one, the insurance company that covers the cost of the car usually in the fine print requires your club and ball must be USGA approved to get the prize for your hole in one. Bottom line don’t pay attention to brands or price, play the ball that works best for you, not a pro on the tournament.
